State level International Yoga Day function at Panipat

Anil Vij said that the state level programme of International Yoga Day will be organized in Panipat while district level programmes will be held in 21 districts and blokc level programmes organized in 121 blocks. The theme of this year is Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and the tagline is Har Ghar-Aangan Yoga . Vij was presiding over the meeting of all the Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of the State to review the arrangements of International Yoga Day programmes through video conferencing here today. Vij said that this time the tagline of Yoga Day is Har Ghar Aangan Yoga , according to which the state government is also setting up yogashalas in the state. Till now about 600 Yogashalas have been established. He said that about 900 Yoga Assistants have been appointed so far. He directed the Deputy Commissioners to ensure that the proper arrangement of uniform, emblem, and yoga mats should made. Along with this, there should be a trained yoga Sahayak, who can perform yoga activities on the main stage. He said that necessary arrangements be made for live address of Prime Prime Minister and the Chief Minister at these functions sites. Vij said that yoga classes are going on in every city and block etc., so he wants all these yoga practitioners to gather at one place and practice yoga to mark the International Yoga Day. Apart from this, in areas where there is a possibility of rain on the occasion, they should alternatively make arrangements. In the meeting, the Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal said that to celebrate Yoga Day, yoga kits should be made available and a standard drill should also be conducted in advance. During the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Dr. G. Anupama informed that during the Yoga Day, the address of the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister will be shown live and there will be a 45-minute yoga session in all the districts and block levels of the state. Earlier, Director General of Ayush Department Dr. Saket Kumar said that 5 to 6 thousand participants will participate in the state level programme, 3 to 4 thousand in the district level programme and more than one thousand participants in the block level programme. He informed that this time the photos and videos of Yoga Day can be uploaded through the Bhuvan Yoga app. He informed that through the letter of the Prime Minister, all the sarpanches, panches, numberdars and general public have been urged to participate in the Yoga Day successfully through the Development and Panchayats Department. Apart from this, the Transport Department, Tourism Department, Sports Department, School Education Department, Higher Education Department, Police Department, Health Department, National Health Mission, ITBP personnel will also participate.
