DAILY WORLD, the first international newspaper from India, is published from Chandigarh and circulated across North India, including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and New Delhi. The newspaper was founded by its Editor-in-Chief Sh. Manish Tiwari and launched on January 1, 2016.
The Founder of the Newspaper, Sh. Tiwari, 44, has around 25 years of experience in the field of journalism and has actively covered Indian Parliament, Home Ministry, Foreign Affairs Ministry, besides several North Indian states, including Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. Sh. Tiwari who served with the Indian Express Group and the Hindustan Times for almost 15 years earlier, has won several national and international awards for best investigative journalism. He is also the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of DAILY POST newspaper which was launched in 2011. Later, Sh. Tiwari founded his own newspaper, DAILY WORLD in January 2016.
Besides the DAILY WORLD print newspaper, the Daily World Group has a strong On-line edition having over 5.54 lakh NEWS STORIES brought to its readers from around the world. This website is one of the fastest news platforms in India to disseminate news, views and analysis on a minute-to-minute basis. The Daily World website has a total hit of OVER 1.5 MILLION PER MONTH and is searched by readers and viewers from around the globe, especially North India and all across the world, including USA, Gulf countries and Europe.
The Online portal also has FOUR E-PAPER editions — Chandigarh, US in English and also UP and Bihar in Hindi. The Group also has ONLINE DAILY WORLD TV with about 2,800 VIDEO STORIES, including SEVEN TALK SHOWS and news and special reports from different parts of India and abroad.
Since 2017, the Daily World Newspaper has been organising an international level DAILY WORLD MARATHON in association with the Chandigarh Administration and the Punjab Government, which has helped the newspaper connect to lakhs of people every year and disseminate awareness about several important issues facing the government.
