Gangwa lays stone of drinking water project in Hisar village

The Haryana Government is working in a planned manner to provide essential basic facilities, including clean drinking water, to the people of the state. In this connection, on Monday, Haryana's Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Sh. Ranbir Singh Gangwa laid the foundation stone of an important drinking water project in Balawas village of Hisar. Nalwa MLA Randhir Panihar was also present on this occasion.
The Cabinet Minister said that the state government is working with full commitment for the overall development of rural areas. Under this project, a water supply line will be laid in a length of 11,400 meters with ductile iron pipe of 250 mm.
Two pump sets of 2500 LPM capacity will be installed, which will pump water up to 55 meter head with the power of 60 BHP. He said that the construction work will be completed in a time bound manner so that the people of the area can get its benefits as soon as possible.
He said that this water supply project, to be built at a cost of Rs 681.65 lakh in Balawas village, is a big gift for the residents of Nalwa and Balawas areas. This project will provide clean water to the people of the area and it will fulfill the long-standing demand of the public.
He said that the Public Health Engineering Department will work on the raw water project for Jal Ghar of villages Nalwa and Balawas of BNC Siwani feeder. This water project will provide a permanent solution to the long-standing drinking water problems in these rural areas.
He said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini is committed to providing clean water to every village. The Cabinet Minister said that the government is working in a planned manner to provide basic facilities to every citizen.
After the foundation stone laying programme, the Cabinet Minister also held a public hearing, in which he heard the problems of the local residents and instructed the officials to solve the problems on the spot.
He said that he is ensuring solutions by understanding the problems of the people by communicating directly with them.
