Dushyant initiates series of devp projects in Hisar

category Regional, chandigarh , , tags Regional, chandigarh , , DW BUREAU CHANDIGARH Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, spearheaded a series of development initiatives in Hisar on Monday, laying the foundation stones for projects worth approximately Rs. 280 crore. He also inaugurated several completed projects, including initiatives at Maharaja Agrasen International Airport. Chautala laid the foundation stone for the Air Traffic Control Room and Terminal Building. He directed officials to expedite the construction process, targeting completion within the next two to three months. Chautala laid the foundation stone for an additional building within the existing Public Works Rest Home complex. Envisioning this project transforming the rest house into the best in the state, he outlined facilities like a CM suite, VIP suites, officers lounge, and 15 additional rooms. The expansion will also include a conference hall, a committee room, multipurpose hall, gym and yoga hall, office and cyber room, drawing and dining room, shops, and staff quarters. Additionally, a Nirman Sadan, housing offices of various Public Works Department branches, will be established within the complex. Demonstrating support for the legal community Chautala participated in the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for a new chamber building for advocates in Hisar. He expressed confidence that this expansion will provide much-needed facilities and resources for young lawyers. Addressing the concerns of residents impacted by the airport construction Chautala announced the construction of a shorter route connecting the Talwandi area to Hisar within the next three months. He further unveiled plans for a Ring Road connecting Talwandi Road to Delhi Road via Mirzapur, to be built by NHAI. This project aims to alleviate traffic congestion and provide convenient access for two-thirds of Hisar. Additionally, Sh. Chautala confirmed the planned connection of the National Highway near village Satrod to the National Highway near village Muklan. Chautala revealed the approval of a feasibility study conducted by JICA for an elevated road within Hisar city. This project will feature seven entry and exit points and significantly improve traffic flow throughout the city. Chautala highlighted the ongoing construction of ROBs and RUBs at all level crossings within the Hisar Lok Sabha constituency, aiming to make the area gate-free in the near future. Urban Local Bodies Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta emphasized the global significance of the Maharaja Agrasen International Airport, highlighting its expansive 7200-acre land allotment, exceeding that of Delhi s IGI Airport. Labor and Employement Minister Anoop Dhanak expressed his enthusiasm for the historical projects underway in Hisar, believing they will not only benefit the state but also attract national and international attention.
