Vij redressed grievances of hundreds of people from various districts at his residence on Monday. A Kaithal resident alleged that an agent took Rs 22 lakh from him in installments to send his son to Canada, but neither sent the son nor returned the remaining amount. A Karnal woman claimed she paid an agent Rs 9 lakh to send her daughter to Canada for studies, but the agent kept her passport and documents without sending her daughter abroad. A Gurugram woman reported an assault case to Minister Vij, who directed the Gurugram Police Commissioner to investigate. A Narwana resident accused another person of creating and registering a fake GPA. A Sirsa woman alleged that no action was taken on her misconduct complaint against a specific individual. A married woman from Panipat claimed that her husband, a police officer, had harassed her and that no action was taken on her dowry harassment complaint. Vij also ordered the Ambala SP to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the suspicious death of a young Ambala resident. The deceased s mother alleged that her son was murdered, while the police initially considered it a road accident. Minister Vij also directed action in several other cases, including land disputes, dowry harassment, and domestic violence. Impressed by Home Minister Anil Vij s work ethic, a young lyricist from Ambala district composed and sang a song dedicated to him, titled Vij will make Vijay Banayenge Phir Se Sarkar Ye Laayenge... (Vij will ensure victory and bring back the government). This is not the first time this lyricist has praised the minister s work.
