DW BUREAU The students and faculty members of the Department of Veterinary Pathology attended Virtual International Veterinary Pathology Conference?2021 organized by the Department of Veterinary Pathology, RAJUVAS, Bikaner. Students and faculty members actively participated and competed in different categories by presenting their research work. The research work of the department was highly appreciated. Dr Kuldip Gupta, Professor of the department was conferred as Fellow of Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists (FIAVP) for the year 2021 for his outstanding contribution to the advancement of Veterinary Pathology. Dr. Bashetti Prafullata Nilkanth, bagged the 'IAVP-Dr Ram Raksha-Kiran Shukla Award for M.V.Sc thesis' for her thesis work under the guidance of Dr. Nittin Dev Singh. Dr. Jasmine Kapoor was awarded 'IAVP-Dr S. Damodaran Award for Best Oncology Paper/Case Report' published in Indian Journal of Veterinary Pathology for her research paper on "Pathology of ocular tumor in bovine" was co-authored by Harmanjit Banga, Nittin Dev Singh and Sidhartha Deshmukh. Dr. Mohanapriya Thangaraj, Ph D student, got second best poster presentation award. The paper was co-authored by Sangram B Gavade, Geeta Devi Leishangthem and Ashwani Kumar Sharma. Dr. Vikas Jaiswal, Ph D student, got Savithree Jibachch Sinha Best poster award for his research work on. (editor@dailyworld.in)
