Sidhu visits Fortis to inquire about the condition of Charanjit Singh Walia

Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu on Sunday visited Fortis hospital Mohali to inquire about the health of Charanjit Singh Walia, President Nursing Training Institutes Association Punjab and Punjabi Film Producers Association.
Charanjit Singh Walia has been admitted to Fortis Hospital due to a chest infection. Sidhu apprised the doctors and administrative staff of the hospital about the health of Walia and instructed them to take full care in treatment of Walia.
He wished a speedy recovery to Charanjit Singh Walia and said that he stood with the Walia family in every possible way in this difficult time.
Sidhu said "Charanjit Singh is a well-known and respected name in the field of nursing training. The nurses have played a vital role as Corona Warriors in the fight against this pandemic."
He said that nurses trained from Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing are working in various hospitals have made their college and Punjab proud everywhere. He said that Punjab government under the leadership of Capt. Amarinder Singh have taken major steps to curb the Corona pandemic which are yielding fruitful results.
Jaswinder Kaur Walia, MD of Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing (wife of Charanjit Singh Walia), Raja Kanwarjot Singh Raja Mohali (Senior Congress Leader) Dr. Paramjit Singh Walia Skin Specialist, Nursing Training Institutes association Vice President Dr. Manjit Singh Dhillon, and Sukhwinder Singh, Finance Secretary were also present.
