Sankalp Yatra gains momentum with programs at 71 locations

As part of this initiative, programs are being conducted at numerous locations daily to connect eligible individuals with government welfare schemes. On the 11th day of the Yatra, which took place on Sunday, programs were organized at 71 locations, drawing the participation of 43,671 people. A total of 36,824 citizens pledged their commitment to a developed India. Officials from various departments utilized the Yatra platform to disseminate information about both Central and State government schemes to residents of villages and towns. In addition, many individuals availed themselves of the benefits offered through these schemes. The primary goal of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is to extend its reach to every corner of the country, ensuring that individuals at the grassroots level can avail themselves of the benefits provided by various government schemes for their development. The Yatra facilitates on-the-spot registrations for a variety of schemes. Moreover, it serves as a platform for gathering the firsthand experiences of citizens during yatra and drone distribution as part of the Drone Didi campaign. Additionally, street plays and quiz competitions are being organized to enhance awareness among the general public. On the 11th day of the Yatra, approximately 8,000 individuals attended health camps, where they underwent health check-ups. Over 4000 people were screened for TB. The Ayushman Card camp saw participation from 195 individuals, while 272 people visited the Aadhar Card camp. (editor dailyworld.in)
