The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee held a significant rally today in Patiala, wherein senior Congress leaders were in attendance. Special invitee to the massive rally was AICC General Secretary Sachin Pilot who was heartily welcomed and congratulated by the populace on his new role. Sachin Pilot addressed the gathered masses, emphasizing the Bharatiya Janata Party's deficiencies, while also underscoring key pledges put forth by the Congress party in anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing the assembly, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, stated, "It is imperative for Punjab to unite against the injustices perpetrated by the BJP government. The central administration persistently treats our state akin to Pakistan. Despite the loss of lives and numerous injuries suffered by our farmer brethren, they are unjustly restrained from voicing their grievances in Delhi."
Addressing the sizeable gathering, Sachin Pilot, AICC GS-Incharge Chattisgarh, expressed, "The electorate holds immense power in shaping the nation's trajectory through their voting rights. The BJP, during their 2014 electoral campaign, promised to double farmers' income. Yet, far from fulfilling this pledge, they subject our farmers to egregious treatment merely for demanding their rights."
He further added ? "The current administration exhibits a disregard for the nation's future, instead focusing on divisive religious agendas. Whatever conversations regarding welfare of the nation, be it in finance, education, healthcare, tourism, energy, or infrastructure, are held with the Narendra Modi-led BJP, their answers only revolve around Hindu-Muslim, Mandir-Masjid, as well as other such issues to create a divide among the populace of the nation. It is imperative to challenge this government's divisive tactics for the betterment of our nation's future and see a united India over the next few years."
