Rs 183 crore to strengthen road network in Harana

In a bid to further strengthen road network in Haryana and to further enhance the convenience of commuters, Chief Minister Haryana Manohar Lal has approved spending of Rs 183.31 crore on the construction and improvement of 60 roads and upgradation of three roads to pavement roads covering 15 districts. While thanking Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala who also holds the portfolio of Public Works (Building and Roads) Department for granting administrative approval for these works said that better road connectivity in the State certainly plays a pivotal role in its development. He said that to ensure this the State Government, from time to time has taken various steps and will continue to do so in future as well.
The Deputy Chief Minster while sharing more details said that an amount of Rs 1786.87 lakh will be spent on the improvement of five roads in Bhiwani district. These include improvement of Talu Siwara road at a cost of Rs 286 lakh, HBB. road to Dhanana via Lohari Jattu Pur road at a cost of Rs 400.83 lakh, HBB Road to Sui via Rajpura Kharkari road at a cost of Rs 283.46 lakh, Mundhal Sukhpura road at a cost of Rs 328.05 lakh, Malwas Kusumbi Keharpura Titani road at a cost of Rs 488.53 lakh.
He said that three roads in Panchkula district including road from Pinjore Mallah road upto Kidarpur Barun, Firojpur to Hangola road, LR Natwal road will be improved at a cost of Rs 533.14 lakh, Rs 359.17 lakh and Rs 194.54 lakh respectively. Likewise, three roads in Yamunanagar district including Kalawar to Jagdhauli road, Kot Basawa Singh to Darpur with link road to Daulatpur and NH-73 to link road Chaneti will be improved at a cost of Rs.128.54 lakh, Rs 300.36 lakh and Rs. 96.99 lakh respectively.The Deputy Chief Minister said that three roads in Hisar district including Siswala to Bhiwani Rohillan road, Bado Brahmana to Dubeta and Niyana to Khokha road will be upgraded at a cost of Rs 171.39 lakh, Rs 182.24 lakh and Rs.303.55 lakh respectively. He said that two roads in Sirsa district including a road from Darba-Rupana to Bakrianwali road and road from Balasar approach road will be upgraded at a cost of Rs 525.23 lakh.
