Many traffickers were caught and put behind the bars. The campaign has now been undertaken in schools in the shape of road shows to spread awareness among the growing young generation and school students. Such a road show was undertaken in Samrala today in local Nankana Sahib public school under the leadership of Dyama Harish Kumar Om Parkash SSP police district Khanna. Besides the students and teachers the Police personnel, doctors and general public took part in it. The road show of went through the main bazars of this town. The students with the banners and play cards in their hands indicating slogans written on the banners were lined up during the show. The police officer said the main aim of this road show to spread awareness among the common people to shun drugs as it destroys the whole life of the person who struck in this menace. He said Khanna police is with zero tolerance against drugs. No one would be spared he who smuggle and supply drugs. He said we gave a massage to the youth through this road show. The positive results came out from the school students. The SSP warned drug traffickers that they can not escape from the clutches of the police.
