At that time, the total number of voters stood at 1,96,25,391, comprising 1,04,50,568 male voters and 91,74,823 female voters. Additionally, there were 2,05,046 voters aged 18 to 19 years. Consequently, for every 1000 male voters, there were 878 female voters. Anurag Aggarwal mentioned that during the Special Summary Revision-2024 period, the concerned Electoral Registration Officer addressed claims, objections, and amendments received from the public in accordance with the submitted forms. A total of 5,25,615 voters were added, while the names of 4,25,749 deceased and permanently transferred voters were removed from the voter list. Subsequently, the final publication of the voter lists, including photographs, was completed at all polling stations on January 22, 2024. He stated that following the latest publication, the total number of voters in the state stands at 1,97,25,257, comprising 1,04,74,461 male voters and 92,50,796 female voters.
