PM to lay stone of AIIMS at Rewari on Feb 16: Banwari Lal

Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of AIIMS in Bhalkhi Majra village, Rewari on February 16. The Minister, along with other administrative officers including Rewari s Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Rahul Hooda, inspected the site of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) being built in Majra-Bhalkhi village on Thursday. He informed that apart from this PM will also address the laying of foundation stone ceremony of Viksit Bharat-Viksit Haryana . Dr Banwari Lal stated that the commencement of construction work of AIIMS is not only crucial for the development of the region but also for the entire southern Haryana. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal, and Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh, saying that the establishment of health services in Rewari district is going to be the focal point, which will not only benefit the districts adjoining Haryana but also the people of Rajasthan. The Cooperation Minister said that along with the construction of AIIMS, employment opportunities will also be created for the people in the surrounding areas. With the establishment of AIIMS in Rewari, while there will be expansion in health services on one hand, on the other hand, the economic development of the region will also get a boost. Moreover, the people of Rewari and surrounding areas will witness this historic event on February 16. Dr Banwari Lal informed that the program of the Prime Minister s visit to Rewari district will be broadcast live across the entire state of Haryana, in which ministers, MLAs, and MPs will listen to the Prime Minister s auspicious message along with the public. The Minister said that the construction of AIIMS in 210 acres will cost around Rs. 1,231 crore. After the foundation stone laying of AIIMS, the process of its construction along with the start of OPD will commence soon. (editor dailyworld.in)
