Union Home Minister Sh. Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of HORC and the work on this project is speedily going on. Under this project, Palwal district will also get the facility of Shatabdi due to the construction of a rail line along with Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway, shared Sh. During this, the Chief Minister also made several pivotal announcements including sanctioning of Rs.50 lakh for the construction of two marriage palaces in Aurangabad, sanctioning of Rs.25 lakh for strengthening the village road network including Aurangabad to Manpur and Aurangabad to Digod road and setting up of e-library in the village. During the programme, the Chief Minister also informed that the work on the roads from Aurangabad to Tikri, Gopalgarh and Banwadi will also be started after the month of April. Sarpanches should send proposals for setting up parks-cum vyayamshalas in their villages. He also directed the Deputy Commissioner to ensure the utilization of unused money in the accounts of the Panchayats for the strengthening and repair of the sewerage system. Earlier a job seeker was forced to pay a hefty amount to get the job, but now we have not only curbed the Parchi Karchi system but also ensured that every deserving and meritorious gets the job in a fair and transparent manner, said Sh. Manohar Lal. The Chief Minister informed that 71 youths from Aurangabad village had got jobs on a merit basis. Meanwhile, when the Chief Minister asked the gathering if anyone has paid any money to get jobs, the crowd jointly said that during Manohar Sarkar s tenure jobs have been given on a merit basis.
