National flag to be hoisted on 60 lakh houses: CM

Giving information about the preparations for 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign in the state, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that in Haryana, 'Har Ghar Tiranga' programme will be made a programme of the people and will be organized with full public participation. He said that for the success of this programme, a meeting has been organized under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary on July 7, 2022 and he himself also held two meetings on December 24, 2021 and July 16, 2022, with all the concerned officers, Vice Chancellors of all universities, members of the cabinet and party office bearers. Intensive brainstorming was done during these meetings and directions have been given to all to participate enthusiastically in this programme.
The Chief Minister informed that the tricolor will be hoisted at about 60 lakh houses in Haryana from August 13 to 15, for which citizens will be motivated to purchase the national flag. He said that arrangements will be made for the sale of the tricolor through various agencies to all the mohallas of the village and all the wards of the cities. The Chief Minister informed that from July 22, 2022, patriotic-inspired songs, quiz and painting competitions will be organized in the government schools of the state. In order to spread awareness about the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, Prabhat Pheris will be taken out in every village and youth will be encouraged to conduct a tricolor cycle rally. Various activities will be organized to connect the youth of colleges and universities with the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. He informed that 16 lakh employees are employed in government institutions, boards, corporations, non-government and private industries in the state. All of them will buy and install the tricolor at their own expense.
The workers working in the industries will hoist the tricolor given by the industries. Big business houses of the state have been motivated to donate by buying the tricolor with CSR money and they are all ready for it. Apart from these, volunteers working in NGOs, Self Help Groups or various organizations through all the District Deputy Commissioners have also been prepared for this programme.
