More than 1 lakh Sangat is expected to reach Panipat tomorrow

Tremendous enthusiasm can be witnessed among the people for ? 'Hind ki Chadar' Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's 400th Prakash Parv programme to be organised on April 24 in Panipat.
A large number of people have reached and started a cleanliness drive from GT Road to the venue on Friday morning. On the other hand, Karnal MP, Sh. Sanjay Bhatia, Panipat Rural MLA, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda, Panipat Urban MLA, Sh. Pramod Vij and District Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Sunil Sarwan have appealed to the Sangat to reach this programme in maximum numbers.
A large number of local people started gathering near Yamuna Enclave on GT Road in Panipat from 6 am on Friday with brooms in their hands. The cleanliness drive was being spearheaded with 'seva bhav' by VVIPs and top brass of the government starting from MPs, MLAs, Deputy Commissioner to senior officers of the District Administration. The cleanliness campaign was carried out with the 'spirit of service' to the 'Guru' and every nook and cranny from GT Road to the venue was cleaned.
Karnal MP, Sanjay Bhatia, who is leading the cleanliness drive, said that today a large number of Panipat residents reached and started the cleanliness drive replete with the spirit of service. More than 1 lakh Sangat is expected to reach this event on April 24, he added. Efforts are being made to ensure that the Sangat doesn't face any kind of problem. To ensure this, on the directions of the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, everyone starting from the District Administration to all the local people and people from different cities of the state are contributing. It is a historic occasion when such a grand event is being organised in Panipat, he added. The programme will be celebrated in a splendid manner and preparations for it are going on. The parking space is at minimum walking distance from the venue while ensuring the Sangat doesn't has to walk much.
Panipat Rural MLA, Mahipal Dhanda said that it is a matter of pride for us that such a big event is being organised in our city Panipat, where lakhs of Sangat will reach from the country and abroad. On the guidelines of the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal the District Administration is working day in and out to ensure that the people who will gather in such a large number are not inconvenienced. Sikh Gurus have a history of sacrifice and they will always continue to inspire mankind. Today youth need to understand this sacrifice, thus, youth should reach this programme in maximum number, he said.
Panipat District Deputy Commissioner Sunil Sarwan said that a cleanliness drive was carried out from GT Road to the place of gathering on Friday morning. Every section of the society participated in it. The programme will start at 9 am on April 24, in which lakhs of Sangat will reach. The District Administration has completed almost all its preparations. Security arrangements have also been made. The parking has been divided into 7 sectors. The District Administration is minutely viewing the preparations for the programme and it will be ensured that the Sangat doesn't face any difficulty here.
Meanwhile, to ensure that regular updates and information of 'Hind Ki Chadar' Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's 400th Prakash Parv Programme to be held in Panipat on April 24 reaches every corner of the country and abroad a hi-tech Media Centre has been set up. For this, 50 computers and high speed double leased line of internet has been arranged at the hi-tech Media Centre.
DG, IPR and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal is personally monitoring this entire programme. Special arrangements have been made for the live telecast of the programme. For this, two leased lines with internet speed of 100 Mbps have been installed, this will provide uninterrupted internet services. There will be live telecast of the entire event with
multicamera setup.
