The CBI has asked Kejriwal to present himself at its headquarters on April 16 by 11 O clock in the morning. It is alleged that during the drafting of the Delhi government s excise policy 2021-2022 to grant licenses to liquor traders, Kejriwal, and his cabinet ministers favoured certain dealers who had paid bribes in crores for it. The central agency has already arrested Kejriwal s deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia on February 26 when he was grilled for nearly eight hours by the CBI before he was formally arrested for not responding to the queries of the inquiry officers in a satisfactory manner. Meanwhile, AAP s Rajya Sabha MP, Raghav Chadha has termed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal as modern-day Mahatma Gandhi. Prior to that AAP supremo and Delhi CM Kejriwal had compared the Deputy CM of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, and Cabinet Minister, Satyendra Jain with Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Both of the ministers had already been facing corruption charges. Now, Arvind Kejriwal has also been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a liquor scam. What could be more atrocious than comparing those, who have been facing corruption cases with national heroes Does AAP leadership even have a basic sense of morality , asked Bajwa. Bajwa said the whole world knew that there has been a huge scam in the new liquor policy introduced by the Kejriwal government in Delhi and how after coming under the scanner for corruption he and his cabinet colleagues retracted from the new policy to go back to the old liquor policy.
