In today's times, everyone seems to fear AI (Artificial Intelligence), but why fear something that is artificial? We must not become slaves to technology; instead, we should use it with intelligence and discretion. In our culture, the Guru holds a place even higher than God and parents. A teacher not only guides an individual student but plays a vital role in building generations and shaping the nation.
Along with education, it is important to understand the value and meaning of time. These thoughts were shared by Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur in his keynote address during the inaugural ceremony of the ScooNews Global Ed-Fest, being held at Hotel Clarks Amer in Jaipur.
The festival commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur; Air Vice Marshal HS Sidana, VSM, Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Education), Indian Air Force; Ms Devyani Jaipuria, Chairperson of Dharav High Schools; and Mr Ravi Santlani, CEO of ScooNews. This year, the festival is themed "Purpose-Driven Education: Designing for Future Realities."
On this occasion, Dr. Lakshyaraj praised the dedication and courage of the Indian Armed Forces, stating that the nation has witnessed their courage and valour over the years.
The presence of Air Force officers at the event today has infused a new sense of energy and enthusiasm in everyone. These brave individuals have risen above personal lives to serve and protect the country. We must learn and draw inspiration from them, he said.
Earlier, in his welcome address, ScooNews CEO Ravi Santlani emphasized the importance of inclusivity in the field of education. He shared that this year, the Ed-Fest has brought together over 750 educators and speakers from across India and abroad, representing various school boards, including school principals, educationists and directors.
