Hry nod to construction of ROB to connect AIIMS with NH-11

Manohar Lal has given administrative approval for the construction of ROB to Connect AIIMS with Rewari Narnaul Road (NH-11) here today. The construction of a Railway Overbridge over the Rewari Narnaul Railway line and Rewari Narnaul Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) line with an estimated cost of Rs. Rs. 251.08 Crore would provide ultra modern accessibility to the upcoming All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rewari District. Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson stated that the proposed ROB is a key component designed to seamlessly link the AIIMS site with Rewari-Narnaul Road (NH-11). The approach of ROB is proposed to start from both the sides of Rewari and Narnaul. This green field project involve 15 acres of land and flyover on NH 11and 6 lane ROB. He stated that the construction of the ROB will ensure swift and convenient access to AIIMS for patients, medical professionals, and visitors, fostering a more accessible and patient-friendly healthcare environment. Connecting the AIIMS site with Rewari Narnaul Road aligns with the state government s commitment to comprehensive urban planning and infrastructure development, promoting seamless connectivity across the region. The project underscores the government s dedication to strengthening healthcare infrastructure. AIIMS in Rewari is envisioned as a center of excellence, and this infrastructure enhancement will contribute to its successful and efficient functioning. The spokesperson further informed that the District Administration has successfully acquired the 15 acres of land in Majra Mustakil Bhalkhi village for the AIIMS project. HLL Infra Tech. Services Ltd. (HITES) has been appointed as the executing agency by the Government of India, overseeing the comprehensive development of the AIIMS project. The project is actively monitored through the Project Monitoring Group (PMG) Portal, ensuring transparency and accountability in its execution. Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, recognizing the pivotal role of robust infrastructure in the development of the healthcare sector, reiterates the government s commitment to creating an environment that fosters growth and well-being for all citizens.
