Haryana on way to becoming a vibrant state: Dattatraya

He also honoured inspiring leaders from different walks of life on the occasion. The Governor said that by following the resolution of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we have to move forward in the direction to make our local skills, expertise and products globally famous, which will help us create our own identity in the world. Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya said that under able leadership of Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal, Haryana is on way to becoming a vibrant, dynamic and resurgent state of India, where farms overflow with produce; the wheels of industry grind uninterrupted; none feels deprived, people have a sense of fulfillment, and the youth have sense of pride, women enjoy not only safety, security and equal opportunities but also feel empowered. He said that Haryana is doing remarkably well in almost every area. It is not only sports and education where the state has become a role model for all but even in industry and services sector, the state is doing exceedingly well. I am happy to share with you that in the recently held Khelo India Youth Games in Madhya Pradesh, Haryana stood second with 128 medals, of which 41 were gold medals, he said. Promising all help to those who wish to invest in Haryana, Shri Dattatraya said that the state government is laying a lot of emphasis on skilling of youth. Youth will be trained through the Centre of Skilling for Emerging Technologies for jobs in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Analytics and Programming and Electric Vehicle Manufacturing. He said that Har Hith stores with product and logistics support provided by the Haryana Agro Industries Corporation have proved to be beneficial to youth and provided employment and source of income through local entrepreneurship. To promote employment opportunities for Haryanvi youth abroad, the Haryana Overseas Placement Cell will identify overseas placement requirements and the skill needs and suitably train youth of Haryana for these jobs abroad. The Governor said that Haryana is implementing most provisions of the new National Education Policy-2020 by 2025 against the national target of 2030. The gross enrolment ratio in higher education in Haryana is 32 per cent at present. The government has fixed a target of reaching 40 per cent by 2030, he said. (editor dailyworld.in)
