Haryana declares war against exam cheating

Informing this here today an official spokesperson said that out of 6 such employees, 3 have already been dismissed. These are Devi Parson who was serving as Peon in District Treasury Officer, Hisar, Kavita Devi, as Lady Constable in Haryana Police stationed at Kurukshetra, and Amarlata as Sub Inspector in Haryana Police. Devi Parson s dismissal order has been issued by the Treasurer Officer in Hisar, while Superintendent of Police Surinder Singh in Kurukshetra and Varun Singla in Bhiwani issued dismissal orders for Kavita Devi and Amarlata, respectively. He stated that 3 more employees booked for impersonation are Sunil Kumar, serving as clerk in the office of Executive Engineer, Provincial Division No. 1, PWD (B R), Hisar, Ashish serving as clerk in the office Land Acquisition Officer, PWD (B R), Hisar and Vikas serving as Registration clerk, Tehsildar office, Panchkula. He said that these 3 officials have been charge sheeted under Rule 7 of the Haryana Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 2016. It is expected that the final orders after the detailed enquiry will be passed against these officials in the near future, he added. Providing additional details, the spokesperson mentioned that Devi Parson, serving as a Peon in the District Treasury Officer in Hisar, was apprehended by the Haryana Police under FIR No. 1157 for appearing in the CET Group D Exam on behalf of Sh. Vikas Kumar bearing Roll number 35735225. The complaint was filed by Dr. Sunil Kumar Bainda, the Centre Superintendent at Om Sterling Global University in Juglan (Hisar), citing a discrepancy in the biometric figure print. He informed that Kavita Devi, who was serving as Lady Constable in Haryana Police, posted at Kurukshetra, came in place of her friend Ritu bearing roll no 45848140 and Amarlata who was serving as Sub Inspector in Haryana Police came appeared in place of her friend Pooja bearing roll no 45848185. Both were implicated based on a complaint from the Centre Invigilator in Guhla regarding a mismatch in biometric figure prints. (editor dailyworld.in)
