Haryana CM Manohar Lal laying the foundation stone of the new Lawyers Chamber Complex in Sector 12, Karnal on Sunday

He also made a contribution of Rs 31 lakh in the complex fund. On the occasion District and Sessions Judge, Sh. Chandra Shekhar, Karnal welcomed the Chief Minister. Speaking at the event, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government has provided 1 acre of land for the construction of the new chamber complex. The complex will have 260 chambers. He assured that a solution would be found soon to the pending electricity bills of the Bar Association complex. He also wished the people of Karnal a happy Makar Sankranti and wished that the lives of everyone in the state be filled with light. The office-bearers of the Bar Association welcomed the Chief Minister and other guests with bouquets and presented them with mementos. On the occasion, Additional District and Sessions Judge Dr. Sushil Garg, Civil Judge, Sh. Khatri Saurabh, Civil Judge(jr. Divison)-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Sh. Gulshan Verma, Bar Association President, Sh. Sandeep Choudhary, and a large number of lawyers were present, Gharaunda MLA, Sh. Harvinder Kalyan, Mayor, Smt. Renu Bala Gupta, District Deputy Commissioner, Sh.Anish Yadav and others remained present on the occasion. Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who was going from Karnal to Chandigarh, made a brief halt at a tea shop near Ambala city on Sunday and spoke to people there. Khattar inquired about their well-being. It is my good fortune that the CM came, said the teaseller. I could not even imagine that the chief minister himself would come to a small tea shop and take tea, he said. Seeing the chief minister, nearby shopkeepers also reached stall. Khattar spoke to them as well and also learned about the problems of their area. In November last year, Khattar had travelled in a government roadways bus from Karnal to Ambala Cantt while returning to Chandigarh.
