Meanwhile, earlier, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 39 projects worth about Rs 590 crore. These announcements highlight Manohar Sarkar s dedication to supporting key social initiatives that resonate with the teachings of Sant Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj. The Chief Minister stated that Sant Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj dedicated his life to the welfare of society and gained fame as a service-oriented personality. He said that when his government came into power in 2014, we observed that the previous governments had forgotten the valuable contributions made by these saints and mahatmas. However, to bring the teachings and ideals of saints to the people as inspiration, the present government has successfully implemented Sant Mahapurush Samman evam Vichar Prachar Prasar Yojna celebrating anniversaries of saints and great personalities. Today s grand program is also organized under this scheme only, said Manohar Lal. He said that social issues can be resolved with the cooperation of society. A successful example of this is the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative, which has transformed Haryana into a state that not only celebrates the birth of every girl child but also educates their daughters to shine bright in every field. Similarly, support from the community is being sought for environmental, and water conservation, and curbing substance abuse, said Manohar Lal. Manohar Lal said, our government is working with the spirit of Antyodaya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented numerous schemes to benefit poor families. Through housing schemes, water connections, Ujjwala Yojana, and providing electricity connections, he has contributed to the well-being of every poor family. The poor have the right to government schemes, and it is their entitlement, said Manohar Lal. The PM has opened more than 40 crore bank accounts, ensuring that every family now has a bank account. The funds from government schemes are directly reaching the beneficiaries bank accounts. (editor dailyworld.in)
