DW BUREAU / CHANDIGARH Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal extended good wishes to the Indian contingent, especially the athletes from Haryana, participating in the Tokyo Olympics 2020, while watching the grand opening ceremony from Chandigarh here today. The Indian contingent of 126 athletes has 25 per cent (30 athletes) from Haryana. While watching the ceremony, the Chief Minister was joyous and was confident that the athletes will perform exceedingly well at the Tokyo Olympics-2020. Dressed in the official Indian uniform for the Tokyo Olympics 2020, the Chief Minister said that the athletes have worked very hard and he was looking forward to watch them perform at the International level. He was accompanied by Minister of State for Sports Sandeep Singh, Publicity Cell OSD Gajender Phogat and Director of Sports Pankaj Nain. (editor@dailyworld.in)
