The government is dedicated to ensure the prosperity of farmers through continuous innovation and the introduction of new initiatives for the welfare of farmers of the state. The government has sanctioned an allocation of Rs 1140 lakh under the Khet Khaliyan Scheme for the construction of approximately 27 kilometers of paved interlocking roads in several villages within the Bawal Assembly constituency. This investment is aimed at addressing the transportation challenges faced by farmers, enabling them to efficiently transport their produce to the market without hindrances. The Cooperation Minister Dr. Banwari Lal emphasized that Chief Minister Manohar Lal, who hails from a farming background himself, possesses a profound understanding of the struggles and challenges encountered by farmers. Consequently, he remains committed to execute government schemes aimed at uplifting the welfare of farmers at the grassroots level, ensuring they can reap the maximum benefits from these programmes. Farmers invest substantial time and effort into cultivating their crops, but they frequently encounter challenges, especially when it s time to transport their produce to the market, especially during the rainy season. In response to this issue, the government has launched the Khet Khaliyan Yojana, designed to eliminate unpaved roads from fields throughout the state, he added. (editor dailyworld.in)
