DW BUREAU The Tau Devi Lal Sports Stadium of Panchkula, which has been given the shape of an International Level sports complex for the Khelo India Youth Games-2021, where on one hand players from all the States and Union Territories of the country are enjoying sports facilities and on the other hand the state's sports expo set up here has also become the centre of their attraction. This showcased that the Haryana Government is lending complete support to its players and motivating them to excel in the International platforms. In Achiever Arena, from Kapil Dev to Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra, other medalists including Olympian and Haryana Sports Minister Sardar Sandeep Singh and Sakshi Malik, Saina Nehwal, Yogeshwar Dutt, Geeta Phogat, Deepa Malik and cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal etc where their success story is being highlighted. The players coming to this expo are also surprised to see the Minister of State for Sports Sardar Sandeep Singh vs Flicker Singh in Achiever Arena. Sardar Sandeep Singh is currently the Minister of State for Sports, Haryana, who is continuously monitoring the preparations being made for the Khelo India Games for several days.
