Employees to go on hunger strike on January 7

DW BUREAU / chandigarh Horticulture Workers Union Chandigarh held a meeting in Sector 31 and appealed to the employees to join the hunger strike to be organized by the Joint Action Committee. The Joint Action Committee'+ char(39) +'s Convenor Ashwini Kumar said that there is no department where the workers do not work on contract and outsource but the administration is not listening to their demands and they are being exploited continuously. He said that their exploitation will stop only when a safe policy will be made in favour of outsource workers. Laljit, Raja Ram, Kamal Kumar and Surmukh Singh also addressed the employees.
