The event was organised under the guidance of Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh, Registrar Dr Dinesh Sharma, and Head of the Department Ramica Sharma. Dr Parvinder Singh said Baisakhi celebration marks the celebration of the abundance of nature, and also marks the beginning of a new season of growth and prosperity. In this event, the USPS department organised Card Making, Kite Making, Turban Tying, Best Traditional Attire, Giddha and Bhangra competition on the theme Baisakhi. Students participated in various activities conducted during the event. Ms. Ramica Sharma Head of Department announced the result and gave prizes and certificates to the winners. Sahil (CSE Polytechnic) won the first prize in Kite Making. Shivani Gautam (Law Department) won the first prize in Card Making, Sapna (CSE Polytechnic) won the Second Prize and Jashanpreet Singh (CSE Polytechnic) won the Third Prize in Card Making. Simran, Harkiran and Prabhjot (USPS Department) won the First prize in Giddha. Surender (CSE Polytechnic) won the First prize in Bhangra Solo. Akashdeep and Gurinder (USPS Department) won the First prize in Bhangra Group. Sukhtaj (Law Department) won the best Gabhru prize and Gursimran (USSS Department) won the best mutiyar prize.
