In a demi official letter, CM also expresses his sincere gratitude to Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister of Railways, Communications Electronics and Information Technology, for the release of a commemorative postage stamp on the occasion of Samrat Hemchandra Vikramaditya s coronation on 7th October, 2023. The spokesperson informed that the Chief Minister while supporting the public demand raised by Samrat Hemchandra Vikramaditya Manch, Rewari, has said the installation of the statue would not only pay homage to the remarkable achievements of Samrat Hemchandra Vikramaditya lovingly called as Hemu by the people of Haryana, but also serve as an enduring source of inspiration for generations to come. It may be recalled that Samrat Hemchandra Vikramaditya, had triumphed in 22 consecutive wars and emerged victorious over the forces of Emperor Akbar. The CM believes that this initiative aligns with the collective resolve of the Government and the people to preserve and celebrate the historical significance of Samrat Hemchandra Vikramaditya s life.
