category Regional, chandigarh, , tags Regional, chandigarh, , DW BUREAU Chandigarh Haryana CM has approved the strengthening and widening of 7 roads of 96.42 kms of total length in 5 districts namely Hisar, Faridabad, Karnal, Sonipat and Fatehabad with an estimated budget of around Rs. 122.57 crore here today. While granting administrative sanction for these crucial works Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal directed the officers of PWD to quickly commence these works and also asked to accelerate the pace of pending works for the convenience of the public. The CM added that Construction of these 07 roads will not only help provide last mile connectivity and mobility for the rural folks but also facilitate growth of agriculture as well as trade commerce thereby increasing livelihood opportunities for people in rural areas. Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the approved work of roads include Improvement of road by providing strengthening and widening from 5.50 to 7.00 Mtr. from Hansi to Dhani Kutubpur upto Division Boundary in Distt. Hisar, Improvement of road by strengthening and widening from 5.50 to 7.00 Mtr. from Hansi Barwala road (Bhatla) to Khokha Mirzapur up to Division Boundary in Distt. Hisar and Improvement of road from Sikri to Dhauj road in Faridabad district. The other approved works are Improvement of road from Hansi Sisai Lohari Ragho Habatpur Kheri Jalab road in Distt. Hisar, Improvement of road from NH-709-A Puccka Khera mor to Muank via to Paban Hassanpur (Section Seori to Paban Hassanpur), Karnal, Improvement of road from Ganaur Shahpur road (MDR-121) in District Sonepat, Improvement of road from Fatehabad-Hanspur Road in Distt, Fatehabad.
