The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has done what would hardly have been done in the world till now.
Through technology, the leaders of trade associations across the country on Sunday gave a loud but clear message of protest by burning effigies of Amazon and Flipkart in a video conference organized by CAIT, using the technology.
CAIT had earlier announced the burning of Flipkart and Amazon all over the Country by the traders at the time of Holika Dahan, but soon after this any type of public programme was banned by the government under the guidelines for Covid precautions.
Therefore, CAIT evolved an innovative way to hold the protest by using technology driven video conference

But Amazon and Flipkart have both consistently violated the laws, rules and policies, there is an emergent need to stop them from playing with law and the policy and therefore a new guidelines should be issued immediately, removing the flaws and discrepancies in the guidelines of the FDI policy. Starting from Tuesday, trade associations across the country will send a memorandum to the central government regarding this demand.
In the protest organized by CAIT, prominent business leaders of all the states of the country joined the video conference from their home and lit the effigies of Amazon and Flipkart on the call
