Principal of Malwa College, Bondli, Dr. Harinder Kaur, said that this year, twice as many students have enrolled in the college compared to last year. The process is still ongoing. She further mentioned that regular classes are being conducted in the college. Along with the curriculum, extra activities have been initiated to raise awareness among students.

She said under the anti-drug campaign, NSS volunteers and other students, led by the NSS unit convener of the college, Pardeep Kaur, and the college's nodal officer appointed by the higher education department for various activities, Dr. Harinderjit Singh Kaler, organized NSS and IEC activities today at the college.

The students/volunteers took out a rally against drugs from the college campus to the nearby village of Dyalpura to raise awareness among the youth about the harmful effects of drugs. The students carried banners and placards and chanted anti-drug slogans. Addressing the students and volunteers during this rally, Acting Principal Dr. Harinder Kaur said that the youth generation can play a crucial role in making Punjab drug-free, securing their own future, and contributing to the creation of a better and healthier society.

Additionally, a poster-making competition was also organized by the students. NSS volunteers cleaned the college campus under the Swachh Bharat campaign. Other participants in the rally included Prof. Jagdeep Singh and Prof. Pawandeep Kaur.
