Anil Vij redresses problems of people at his Ambala residence

On Saturday, he addressed their concerns and issued directives to the concerned officers to redress the grievances. Complainants hailing from Chhichdana village in Sonipat recounted the unfortunate incident where the village Sarpanch had been shot dead. Despite the police registering a case, not all the accused have been apprehended, and the complainants alleged intimidation by the suspects. Responding to this, Home Minister Anil Vij directed the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the leadership of Sonipat Police Commissioner to take decisive action. In the course of the public hearing, several cases related to fraud came to the attention of Home Minister Anil Vij. These cases were referred to the SIT established for such instances, ensuring appropriate investigation and subsequent action. A complainant from Narayangarh reported being duped of Rs 5 lakh by an agent promising immigration to America. Similarly, another complainant from Yamunanagar shared that an agent defrauded his son of Rs 9 lakh under the pretext of facilitating travel to Portugal. Additionally, a resident of Karnal reported being conned of Rs 12 lakh by an agent who, instead of sending him to America as promised, redirected him to Israel. In these instances, the Home Minister instructed the SIT to take necessary action. Addressing various complaints, Home Minister instructed officials to take swift action. A married woman from Karnal accused her husband and in-laws of misconduct and harassment, highlighting the lack of arrests despite a registered case. The Home Minister directed another Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. Other complaints included allegations of land grab in Jhajjar, assault by in-laws in Kaithal, a scam in development works in the village of Upjanthali in Karnal, and assault by in-laws in Sonipat. In each case, Minister Vij instructed the relevant officials to take prompt action. One complainant from Sonipat accused her brother of bullying, stating that her father had transferred 40 percent of his property to her name. However, after her father s demise, her brother allegedly continued to threaten her. In response, the Home Minister directed the Sonipat Police Commissioner to initiate necessary actions. Another resident of Narayangarh reported that the opposing party was pressuring miscreants to withdraw a case related to an assault. A resident of Yamuna Nagar claimed that the accused were not arrested in a murder case, and a resident of Ambala city asserted fraudulent property acquisition.
