Anil Vij listens to grievances of people at his residence

He also directed to send a report within ten days explaining the reason for this delay despite the complainant having filed the case 7 months ago. In another case of a suspicious death in a hotel in Sirsa, an SIT has been formed on the orders of Vij, receiving appreciation from the family. Home Minister Shri Anil Vij heard the grievances of hundreds of people coming from across the state at his residence today in Ambala. In a case from Yamunanagar, a bride who filed a dowry harassment case seven months ago hasn t seen any action. Expressing dissatisfaction Vij expressed his displeasure to the Yamunanagar SP and directed the DSP to conduct an inquiry, expecting a report within ten days. Similarly, in Sirsa, after the suspicious death of a youth in a hotel, relatives approached Shri Anil Vij with their grievances. Alleging police inaction, Shri Vij directed the SP, Sirsa to form an SIT for investigation. The family extended gratitude towards the Home Minister for his intervention. Addressing cases of fraud related to sending people overseas Anil Vij handed over two such cases to the already constituted SIT for further investigation. A resident of Vashishtha Nagar, Ambala informed that he had talked to an agent in Delhi to send his daughter and son abroad. He gave approximately Rs. 55 lakh to the agent on different dates, but after this neither his children were sent abroad nor the money was returned. Similarly, a girl from Kurukshetra told that the agent of Gurdaspur had duped her of Rs. 12 lakh on the pretext of sending her to Britain on a study visa. In a case from Hisar, where a murder was reported as a road accident Anil Vij directed to constitute a SIT to re-investigate the case based on a complaint received from a person in Hisar.
