DW BUREAU / Chandigarh A Six-member delegation from Haryana Government led by Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal, including MLA Deepak Mangla, Chairman, HAFED Kailash Bhagat, Managing Director, HAFED A. Sreenivas, Deputy Secretary, Cooperation Department Ms. Shivjeet Bharti, General Manager, HAFED Arun Kumar Ahuja looking after the Procurement and Warehousing operations, is on its visit to Italy and Germany. During the visit, the delegation will study the procurement system of food grains and exploring emerging technologies related to agri-warehousing and Silos for storage of food grains and have business meetings with the intended importers of food grains. Dr. Banwari Lal paid a visit to Villa Vrindavan, a Sri Krishna temple at Florence and met the Priest Parbhakti Das. Dr. Neena Malhotra, the Ambassador of India to the Republic of Italy also welcomed the Minister and accompanied him during the visit. He also visited the Museum of Sacred Art (MOSA) at the temple and appreciated the paintings containing excerpts from Mahabharta and Ramayana. Villa Vrindavan is a part of the ISKCON, popularly known as Hare Krishna movement. ISKCON and Villa Vrindavan plans to construct a temple at Kurukshetra in Haryana. (editor@dailyworld.in)
