Vij orders vigilance inquiry into irregularities in MGNREG scheme in Kheri Lamba

Haryana Health, Sports and Youth Affairs Ministe Anil Vij has ordered vigilance inquiry into alleged irregularities since 2016 in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in Kheri Lamba village of Kaithal district.

Presiding over district grievance redressal committee meeting here on Saturday, the Minister ordered the inquiry after hearing the complaint of village residents regarding fake job cards and other irregularities. Total 12 complaints were taken up by Mr Vij in the meeting.

Taking action on other complaint, he directed to transfer Civil Surgeon of Community Health Centre (CHC), Kaul. Kaul resident Vikas Kumar has made a complaint that his wife Priyanka was brought to CHC Kaul for delivery where the staff on duty referred her to Civil Hospital Kaithal, where same treatment was repeated by the doctors and due to this negligence of doctors, the new born girl child died.

Mr Vij ordered to take action against guilty sarpanch of village Dherdu for various irregularities in developments works. Dherdu resident Jagdish Chander made a complaint that the sarpanch had done embezzlement of the funds which were sanctioned for cremation ground and other works.

In another complaint, the Minister ordered immediate arrest of guilty person involved in a case of loot of paddy from the fields of Kulveer Singh, a resident of Chaushala village.
