The program began at around 4.00 PM with the arrival of Governor who was given a ceremonial welcome by the all-girls school band. The invitees from different walks of life converged at the Punjab Raj Bhavan which was tastefully decorated on the Republic Day. The Governor greeted the guests present and exchanged pleasantries with them. A beautiful cultural bonanza by the artists of North Zone Cultural Center (NZCC) for the first time was featured in the At Home reception at Punjab Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh. The initiative to promote the artists of North Zone was well received by the audience. The presence of National Awardees, distinguished sports persons and Divyangjan was another first time feature of the reception.
