RBDCH organises free dental camp


DW BUREAU / Mohali A free dental check-up camp was organised by the Department Of Public Health Dentistry of the Rayat Bahra Dental College and Hospital (RBDCH) at Badhmajra, Kharar. A dental team of dental faculty and interns examined patients of different age groups and found dental caries and gum problems to be the most common issues. Dr Vimal Kalia principal (RBDCH) said After clinical examination, all the patients were counselled and at the end of the camp, expert doctors spoke about the importance of oral hygiene. They also explained ways to maintain good oral health, proper brushing techniques and good eating habits. Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, appreciated the initiative of the RBDCH and reiterated that more such camps would be organised to create awareness among the rural masses about the need to maintain dental hygiene.
