Former UP BJP MP gets threat call


Lucknow, Sep 12 : Former Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) MP, Hari Narain Rajbhar, has received a threat call from an unidentified phone number for his comment on elusive Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) MLA from Mau, Abbas Ansari. Hari Narain had given a statement about Ansari saying that the Mau MLA had taken shelter at the house of SBSP chief O.P. Rajbhar. The complainant got the threat call when he was busy in talking with people who visited him at his residence in the Viram Khand area of Gomti Nagar. It was alleged that on Sunday evening, he received a call in which the caller asked him why he had given a derogatory statement about Ansari and asked him to prepare for the consequences in future. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Prachi Singh said that an FIR under the charges of criminal intimidation by anonymous communication has been registered against the number based on a complaint by Hari Narain Rajbhar.
