Recover dues from establishments along highways: PWD minister

DW BUREAU / CHANDIGARH The Punjab Public Works minister Harbhajan Singh ETO has directed immediate recovery of access road dues from commercial properties along the roads such as Petrol Pumps, Marriage Palaces, Private Schools, Private Hospitals, Industrial Factories, Hotels/Dhabas etc. Taking the matter seriously, Mr Harbhajan Singh ETO while reviewing the work of the Public Works Department here today, expressed grave concern over the loss of revenue as many business establishments have not taken approval for the access route and those who have taken the approval have not paid the due fees.
