UP Minister bitten by rat, presumes it is a snake


Banda (UP), May 2 : State Minister Girish Chandra Yadav was allegedly bitten by a rat during his stay at the Circuit House in Banda. The minister suspected that he had been bitten by a snake and was admitted to a hospital. Since there is a dense forest around the circuit house, the minister felt he had been bitten by a snake. He was finally discharged on Monday morning after the doctors examined him. Yadav, who is minister of state for sports and youth welfare, was in Banda on an inspection visit. /IANS
