Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, today announced that ultra modern nirman sadan will be built in the remaining eight circles of the Public Works Department. He said that there are 11 circles of the Department in the State, out of which three are modern buildings and in the second term of the present state government, similar nirman sadans will be constructed in the remaining 8 circles. He was speaking after inaugurating the newly constructed ultra modern Nirman Sadan and laying the foundation stone of the residential complex for the officials of the Department in civil lines Gurugram today. The six-storey nirman sadan with double basement has been constructed at a cost of about Rs 25 crore and its construction has been completed in less than the prescribed time period of one-a-half year.
Rao Narbir Singh said that the present State government do not leave the projects in middle by just laying the foundation stone, but also completes the projects. He said that today the residential complex of which the foundation stone has been laid today will cost about Rs 23 crore and it will be ready in 21 months. He said that in other circles of the Department wherever it is required the residential complexes will be built for officers/employees. In this complex, 62 flats will be built for officers of different levels. He said that the name of Gurugram is on the world map today and accordingly the offices and other facilities of the departments should be provided here.
