A supermodel with a hidden desire to work in Punjabi films and do lots of modelling, that is what Renuka Kaushal is all about. Tall, slim and a bundle of energy this student of advertisement designing is now wanting to become a world class super model.

Renuka Kaushal the daughter of a Naval officer Parshottam Singh has won the World Supermodel India 2017 Contest in Mumbai at the age of 24, she now plans to head for Macau where the International Super Model contest is being held which has produced models like Gigi Hadid to name a few.

Renuka says she owes her fitness to her love for classical dancing and even though she has joined a gym to remain fit she says her fitness is due to her inherent body type. Even though she is a hard core non-vegetarian and she loves eating fattening high calorie foods they do not show on her face and figure at all she says.

Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan inspire her even though Deepika has never been anywhere near a beauty pageant she says.

Renuka feels that like Priyanka Chopra she can represent her country abroad and as a super model would like to be an ambassador for India as well.

Does she believe that working is good for women.

Renuka strongly endorses the fact. We should let our sisters and our daughters go out and work and represent the nation, as by holding them back we hold back India she says.

Renuka has a hidden desire and that is to work for Punjabi films because she is a Punjabi who has been living in Mumbai all these years and she feels Pollywood will help her reconnect with her roots.

All the best Renuka.
