Police solved blind murder case of BSc student in Ambala

The Ambala Police has solved the blind murder case in which a BSc student Hamit of Ambala Cantonment was murdered four days back.

The police arrested one Himanshu alias Harsh while his two accomplices are yet to be nabbed.

The DSP Suresh Kaushik said the police had reached the remaining two accused and would arrest them soon.

He said Himanshu during interrogation stated that they had no intention to kill Hamit and it happened when they exchanged hot words with Hamit over a petty issue of giving side to car outside the general bus stand Ambala Cantonment. But in the brawl one of the assailants attacked Hamit with sharp edged weapon following which he fell unconscious and the assailants escaped in their car.

The people present on the spot took Hamit to the civil hospital from where he was

referred to the PGI Chandigarh where he succumbed to his injuries there.

The DSP claimed that the police had solved the blind murder case with the arrest of Harsh who was a criminal involved in many crimes. He said the police team had raided many places to trace out the remaining assailants. Giving detail of the incident, the DGP said the deceased Hamit with his friend had come to bus stand to take meals at around 2.30 a.m. but while moving there, he entered into a brawl with the assailants who attacked him with dagger and injured him.
