PM Modi to interact with BODs of Smart Cities through videoconferencing

Coming Saturday board of directors of all the top 20 smart cities would get a chance to interact with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he would take discuss regarding smart city mission. Also he would launch the projects of those smart cities which are ready with the same. It is going for the first time that BODs of all the top 20 smart cities would interact live with PM Modi.

The video conferencing is likely to take place at Deputy Commissioner Office, Mini Secretariat on June 25. The main aim of this video conferencing is to take stock of preparation of the selected smart cities and also they would be giving brief information about their vision for the implementation of the smart city.

Today, a meeting also took place where Joint Secretary from Ministry of Urban Development Neeraj Mandloi interacted with the officials regarding this upcoming event of video conferencing.

While giving the information MCL Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori told that it would be a great opportunity to get a chance to interact with PM Modi though through video conferencing but it would also help them in collecting the information about preparations of other top smart cities.

Notably, all the BODs of Ludhiana Smart City Limited are likely to participate in the video conferencing including the Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria, Deputy Commissioner Ravi Bhagat, Police Commissioner Jatinder Aulakh, MC Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori, Sanjay Goel Chairman of Indian institutes of Architects Punjab Chapter, Ludhiana, KNS Kang Vice Chairman Ludhiana Management Association, Rajinder Gupta, Vice Chairman Punjab state planning board, NK Sharma, Chief Engineer Central Zone Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, Ludhiana and Lachman Das Chief Engineer Municipal Corporation.
