Haryana police has busted a gang of five most-wanted criminals and arrested them for their involvement in more than 16 murder cases, besides recovering three weapons, ammunition and a car from their possession.
Stating this here on Friday, a Police Department Spokesman said that those arrested included Satish alias Monu Kala of Kilod Sonipat, Arvind alias Pandit alias Kala of Balmand district Hisar, Naresh alias Pahlwan of Narnodh district Hisar, Surender alias Foji of Ladpur district Jhajjar and Ashwani alias Pannu of Najafgarh, Delhi.
He said Haryana Police had announced reward of Rs one lakh for the arrest of Satish, who, along with his associates, had killed petrol pump owner Raju Sethi and property dealer Bharat Bhusan in Gurugram. Satish had earlier been convicted and awarded life imprisonment for his involvement in two murders. After jumping his parole in 2008, he formed his own gang and killed eight persons in Sonepat, Gurugram, Jind and Hisar.
Hisar Police had announced reward of Rs 50,000 for the arrest of Arvind, who was wanted in eight murder cases. Naresh had run away in a case in 2016, and had murdered two persons in 2016 and one in 2017.
