Another e-auction of properties of PUDA and other Special Development Authorities proved to be a success, as an amount of Rs 75.39 crore was generated from the auction of various properties across the State. While the e-auction of all other Development Authorities had concluded on Monday, e-auction of properties under jurisdiction of GMADA ended today, an official spokesperson said here.
From the e-auction of various OUVGL properties, PUDA got revenue of Rs 21.76 crore. Sites of PUDA disposed of in the auction included a commercial chunk site, residential plots and booths situated in Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Malout, Nabha and Bathinda. The commercial chunk site situated at Bathinda attracted the highest bid of Rs 14.78 crore. GMADA was able to auction industrial sites situated in IT City, Mohali and one industrial plot of Rajpura. Besides, booths and residential plots situated in different sectors of Mohali were also auctioned. In total, GMADA earned approximately Rs. 30 crores from the auction of these sites and plots.
Other than above, by auctioning SCOs, residential plots and booths situated at different places in Ludhiana, GLADA earned an amount of Rs 10.10 crore. While, Bathinda Development Authority successfully auctioned properties worth Rs 5.42 crore, Amritsar Development Authority earned Rs 4.58 crore. Properties auctioned by Bathinda Development Authority and Amritsar Development Authority included residential plots of Batala and SCF, SCS, booths and residential plots situated in various urban estates of Bathinda respectively. Similarly, Patiala Development Authority successfully disposed of SCOs and booths worth Rs 3.53 crore in the e-auction.
