When things are going well, everything seems perfect. But if something unpleasant happens, we ponder upon the facts and reasons behind its occurrence. And, we often don't realize that these so-called facts are nothing but conclusions derived out of our own or someone else's manipulations. So it is always better to dream, plan, and execute things smartly and use a systematic as well as scientific approach in making long-run decisions.
Think of the reasons why you ever started running or took any other sport. While answering this question, try to be honest with yourself. If you started for mere enjoyment, then you would feel blissful even with 60 percent of your total capable efforts. But if you plan to step into a higher level of that physical activity, then you are on the verge of progression. It requires proper planning, execution, and some other important factors also come into play. Therefore, you must follow this under a certified supervision.
Have you ever wondered why milestones are always kept at proper and particular distances only? Why runners of different running categories follow different training plans? Why coaches for different events are deputed strategically by the Sports Authority of India? Why do athletes need to go through different levels of competition?
The answer is to achieve a "proper progression under properly guided, abled, and effectively executed coaching plans." But if we don't follow this correctly then the answer is very simple. Either the training plan collapses, or the trainee himself collapses. It is better to go with the first one than the latter as the trainee/runner is undoubtedly more valuable. We can always prepare a different training program, but a runner or trainee of the same calibre and experience is quite tough or say, nearly impossible to find.
If we look into the present scenario, things are changing. Most of us are following virtual means of training programs, or we are coaching ourselves. So do follow your dreams, but don't be in a hurry of chasing and achieving them. Be patient and explore.
Always follow the progression of load at any terms but never forget the killer "overtraining." Certain hours of training are essential before shifting to the next level.
At last, I would like to conclude by saying just follow the right choice for your body's recreation and always listen to your body. But be impartial while listening to it. Don't be fascinated by the colours of rainbow upto that extent, which provokes you to jump from a high point to catch it. Just enjoy the beauty of it. Be very smart and choosy while selecting the runs for a calendar year.
